FROM ACADEMIC IMMUNOLOGY TO TRANSLATIONAL VACCINE DEVELOPMENT

PVT was founded as a spin-off from the University of Tübingen’s Institute of Immunology, building on long-standing expertise in antigen presentation, T-cell immunology and ORFV-based vector research.


The company emerged from the scientific environment shaped by Prof. Hans-Georg Rammensee, whose work has strongly contributed to the understanding of antigen presentation and T-cell-based immunity.


Today, PVT applies this scientific foundation to advance a proprietary ORFV platform for preventive and therapeutic vaccine applications in human and animal health.
