Prime Vector Technologies and Boehringer Ingelheim Partner to Advance Next-Generation Cancer Vaccines

Prime Vector Technologies has entered into an exclusive license agreement with Boehringer Ingelheim for the development of next-generation cancer vaccines based on its ORFV platform. The agreement represents a major milestone in the company's strategy to expand the platform into new therapeutic areas while continuing to advance its infectious disease pipeline.

Prime Vector Technologies develops next-generation vaccines and immunotherapies based on its proprietary Orf virus (ORFV) vector platform.

Our technology enables rapid generation of mono- and multivalent vaccine candidates for human and animal health — addressing infectious diseases, pandemic preparedness, veterinary applications and therapeutic cancer vaccination.

PLATFORM HIGHLIGHTS

Modular

Stable integration of up to five transgenes within one ORFV backbone enables flexible antigen combinations and tailored immune modulation.

Potent

ORFV-based vaccines are designed to induce coordinated humoral and cellular immune responses without the need for additional adjuvants.

Repeatable

No neutralizing anti-ORFV vector immunity supports repeated immunization strategies in the same individual.

Fast

PVT’s proprietary vector engineering and selection system enables progression from concept to first in vivo experiments within approximately four weeks.

APPLICATION AREAS

One ORFV platform. Multiple application spaces.

Human Health
ORFV-based vaccine and immunotherapy approaches for infectious diseases, and cancer.

Animal Health
Flexible and multivalent vaccine concepts for companion animals and livestock.

Emerging Diseases
Rapid response concepts for selected pathogens with epidemic or pandemic potential.

PARTNER WITH PVT

We are seeking partners to advance ORFV-based vaccine concepts from design to preclinical and clinical development.

Together with academic, biotech, pharmaceutical and animal health partners, PVT aims to unlock the potential of ORFV for next-generation vaccines and immunotherapies.
